Tuzla

Tuzla is a small, peaceful village where you will find a wide variety of fish restaurants along the waterside.  The resorts of Bodrum, Yalikavak and Turgutreis each have an impressive marina with shops, cafes, restaurants and spectacular surroundings.

Bodrum’s most prominent feature is the Castle of St. Peter overlooked by the ancient amphitheatre.  Bodrum’s nightlife is buzzing with plenty of bars, cafes and clubs and during the day you can relax on Bodrum beach or explore the wide variety of shops and markets!

Bodrum is a holiday hotspot for a diverse, electric array of nationalities.  It is the favoured destination for affluent Turks from the cities of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, but they are not the only lovers of the region, others include holidaymakers from Germany, Holland, Italy, Ireland, the UK, Belgium, Russia and Greece to name but a few.

Its beachfront bars are beautifully tranquil by day – a peaceful haven for sunbathing and swimming.  Then in the evening it transforms into the bustling epicentre of the resorts lively nightlife, with the notorious ‘Halikarnas’ nightclub at the far end of the bay offering dancing into the small hours.

Further along the southern coastline of the peninsula lie the resorts of Gumbet, Bitez, Ortakent and Yashi.

Gumbet is known for being the liveliest resort on the peninsula and is popular with younger Dutch and British holidaymakers.  It is party central, with many bars and restaurants to choose from.

Bitez is a more family orientated resort with beautiful beachfront bars and low-key relaxed restaurants.  It is a sophisticated and friendly location.

Ortakent and Yashi are favoured by families. They boast lovely sandy beaches and like the rest of the bays, crystal clear water. Quaint fish restaurants are dotted along the shoreline with tables on the beaches.
